Advantages of life in villages

God created rocks, mud and wood. Man created cement, concrete and steel. God never intended the natural habitat of man to be polluted by things that man created.... But then God never knew that he had created such an intelligent being who would evolve the gift of creativity as he himself evolved over millions of years. Science was supposed to be a boon, and man ended up being a slave to science. Imagine a world without the inventions of science. Houses built of rock and mud and wood, with natural ventilation, i am sure everyone reading this blog would shudder to live in such a dwelling. We have got so used to living in the comforts of our modern day dwellings, that we tend to overlook the disadvantages of living in cities. I agree that the more comfortable things in life are found in cities, but take a moment to think about it, and you will realise that the real wealth lies in proximity to nature. Try to compare the air, the water, the food that you have in the modern cities to the air, water and food that you will find in villages and the mountains. Any person who really cares for quality will agree that the life in the villages is much healthier. I strongly feel that the facilities that cities provide are no match for the healthy living that villages offer us. I am sure there will be many detractors who will argue that medical facilities in cities are incomparable to those available in villages. But my reasoning to this argument would be... if one lived in close proximity to nature, the ailments that you suffer in cities, would never reach you. Take a simple test...and count the number of man made chemically created things that you use since the time you wake up in the morning till you sleep. You will be surprised that people living in the villages, use less than half the number of these chemically created things and yet live far more healthier and longer lives.

Finally, when one thinks of the reasoning that I offer, he would have no option but to agree that if we do continue on our merry ways, turning a blind eye to the effects of pollution, there will be a time in the near future when all human kind would turn back to living in villages. Hardships faced in living in villages are surely much easier on our lives than the modern day ailments found in the cities. Bottom line is...

Roads are black, the dwellings are grey

As black as the night, is our modern day

Cities may be bright, but villages are green

That's what matters, to lead a life clean
